Mini-pupillage

To explore more :

Our Mini-pupillage Scheme is designed to offer students a comprehensive understanding of the day-to-day work of barristers in Hong Kong. Through observation, mentorship, and practical involvement, students will gain exposure to real-life legal cases, courtroom proceedings, and the dynamics of a bustling legal practice.

The scheme aims to provide a valuable platform for students to explore the inner workings of barristers’ chambers, interact with experienced barristers, and immerse themselves in the practice of law. The scheme generally lasts for two or four weeks – subject to barristers’ schedules and students’ preferences.

An experience in our Mini-pupillage Scheme will be an advantage if student intends to apply for our Pupillage or Pupillage Scholarships in the future.

Application Process

We offer Summer Scheme (June – August) and Winter Scheme (December – February) per year.

For Summer Scheme, applications should be submitted to Chambers by 30 April; for Winter Scheme, applications should be submitted to Chambers by 31 October.  Late application will not be considered.

Our scheme is open to both local and overseas law students studying in any Common Law jurisdictions. Having a strong academic background and a genuine passion for the law will be advantageous.
