BGPB v. KSW [2023] HKCFI 1476; HCMP 1922/2020

The case concerned custody and joint responsibility for the parties' child. The parties had difficulty agreeing on access and holiday arrangements for the child. Shaphan acted on behalf of the unmarried father, who obtained an order for shared care and control of the child. The court made the order after hearing submissions from the counsels and considering the views of professionals, including a counsellor appointed by the school, a treating counsellor of the child, a child psychologist, and a social welfare officer who prepared the Social Investigation Report.
