9th LAWASIA Family Law & Children’s Rights Conference 2025

Azan recently had the pleasure of once again attending the 9th LAWASIA Family Law & Children’s Rights Conference 2025 in Penang, Malaysia, an enriching gathering of family law professionals from across Asia and beyond.

This year’s conference brought together over 130 participants from more than 15 jurisdictions to engage with critical topics like child protection, surrogacy, domestic violence, mental health, and the evolving dynamics of modern families. It was a true privilege to learn, exchange insights, and contribute to conversations shaping the future of family and children’s rights.

Azan’s work in family law is marked not only by legal acumen but also by a deep commitment to reform, accessibility, and child-focused solutions. Whether advocating for inclusive legislation or mentoring within the legal community, his passion for advancing the well-being of families continues to leave a meaningful impact, both in and beyond the courtroom.
