Vivienne was called to the Hong Kong Bar in 2023 upon completing her pupillage with Mr Peter Barnes, Mr Danny Chan, Mr Billy Ma and Mr Albert Luk. She also served her extended pupillage with Mr Azan Marwah and Mr Ronald Pang.
Vivienne maintains a mixed practice with a primary focus on matrimonial and probate law. Throughout her pupillage, she contributed extensively to a wide array of cases, including criminal matters, matrimonial proceedings, children’s issues—such as relocation proceedings and adoption—land and trust disputes, and probate matters, notably applications under Cap. 481 and proceedings involving the removal of executors.
As a solo advocate, Vivienne has experience appearing before Masters in both the District Court and the High Court, handling interlocutory applications. Her experience includes applications for amendments to petitions and orders to make decree nisi absolute, among others. Additionally, she has appeared in the Magistrates’ Court and the District Court in criminal proceedings.

HCA 1818/2018 - worked with Mr Billy Ma in a case concerning whether the Defendant had a life interest in the subject property.(Basically land title disputes) prepared chronology, cross examination questions, assisted with drafting the re amended defence and counterclaim.
HCA 1648/2019 - worked with Mr Billy Ma in case concerning land title disputes. We were applying for leave from Court to join a party as co-plaintiff, amend the SOC and file SLOD. This case went up to the Court of Appeal CAMP 174/2023 where appeal was granted and leave was also granted. I helped draft the letter to court and opening submissions.
