Vivienne was called to the Hong Kong Bar in 2023 upon completing her pupillage with Mr Peter Barnes, Mr Danny Chan, Mr Billy Ma and Mr Albert Luk. She also served her extended pupillage with Mr Azan Marwah and Mr Ronald Pang.

Vivienne maintains a mixed practice with a primary focus on matrimonial and probate law. Throughout her pupillage, she contributed extensively to a wide array of cases, including criminal matters, matrimonial proceedings, children’s issues—such as relocation proceedings and adoption—land and trust disputes, and probate matters, notably applications under Cap. 481 and proceedings involving the removal of executors.

As a solo advocate, Vivienne has experience appearing before Masters in both the District Court and the High Court, handling interlocutory applications. Her experience includes applications for amendments to petitions and orders to make decree nisi absolute, among others. Additionally, she has appeared in the Magistrates’ Court and the District Court in criminal proceedings.

  • DCCC 115/2021 & DCCC 768/2020 – represented the Defendants in multiple riot-related cases; gained significant experience in conducting legal visits to clients in custody (with Mr Danny Chan)
