Kate completed her pupillage with Mr. Derek Chan SC, Mr. Ross Yuen, Ms. Connie H.Y. Lee and Mr. Danny K.K. Chan, where she gained exposure in a wide range of civil and criminal matters.
During her pupillage, she assisted in a diverse range of trials and appeals concerning criminal cases, land and trust disputes — including adverse possession, common parts disputes, tracing of funds — commercial and contractual disputes, employment matters, defamation, personal injury, probate matters, competition law, and civil appeals.
Before joining the Bar, Kate worked in the public relations and communications sectors with leading airline and theme park companies. There, she gained valuable experience in corporate and internal communications, media and publicity, contractual matters, and crisis management.
She has appeared at different court levels both as a sole advocate and as junior counsel. Kate now maintains a mixed practice with a primary focus on contractual disputes and probate law.
Fluent in multiple languages, Kate draws on her linguistic skills to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds. She approaches legal issues with precision and strategic insight, delivering solutions tailored to her clients’ needs.
