CPD Seminar – Best Practices for Conducting Employment Terminations in Hong Kong

As a barrister and certified public accountant, Becky recently participated as a speaker in a two-day CPD workshop. She covered various aspects related to the lawful termination of employment contracts. The workshop discussed methods of termination, lawful ways to terminate contracts, calculation of notice periods, payment in lieu of notice, summary dismissal under common law and the Employment Ordinance, grounds for summary dismissal, consequences of summary dismissal, and more.
