Conference Series to review Hong Kong’s Progress in the Protection of Children and Advancement of Child Rights

Azan, as the chairman of The Hong Kong Committee on Children’s Rights, recently delivered a welcome remark at the Opening Conference on Violence Against Children.


This conference series aims to reflect on the progress made in safeguarding the best interests of our children since The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) has been in effect in Hong Kong for 30 years. These conferences bring together relevant speakers and stakeholders, including but not limited to Dr. Patrick Cheung (Chairman, Against Child Abuse), Prof. Puja Kapai (Associate Professor of Law, HKU), Ms. Rita Ku (Partner, Rita Ku & Ser), Ms. Patricia Ho (Managing Partner, Patricia Ho & Associates), to facilitate lively discussions on specific themes and generate solutions to the challenges faced by children in the hope of further enhancing their well-being.
