Knut joined the bar in 2024 after 6 years as an in-house lawyer, working for some of the world’s largest technology companies. He is particularly versed in the sports, music, media, and technology sectors and competition law. He completed his pupillage with Mr John Marray, Mr Toby Brown, Mr Robin Edgerton, and Mrs Sasha Allison. Whilst serving as Mrs Shasha Allison’s pupil, she was a Deputy Family Court Judge.

 

Knut’s experience lies mostly in corporate, commercial, IP, and matrimonial disputes. As a pupil, he was involved in more than a dozen different matrimonial disputes, both on children matters and financial matters.

 

Knut is a qualified mediator (Associate-CIArb) and has acted as a mediator in employment, IP, and shareholders’ disputes.

 

Knut became a certified co-parenting coordinator after qualifying as a Hong Kong barrister.

 

Knut is the Chairperson of the Hong Kong Competition Association.
