John joined Chambers upon completion of his pupillage with Mr. David Chen, Mr. Martin Wong, Ms. Catherine Wong and Mr. Erik Shum. He also extended his pupillage with Mr. Robin D’Souza and Mr. Valentine Yim.

John is developing an extensive practice in civil litigation, with a particular interest in chancery and commercial matters, including Trust and Probate, Land & Property, Shareholder Disputes, Private International Law, Competition Law, and Arbitration.

Prior to joining the Bar, John completed his traineeship with a law firm in Hong Kong and shadowed the Honourable Madam Justice Au Yeung as judge’s marshal.  He has experience dealing with matters relating to Family Law, Building Management, Conveyancing, Administrative & Public Law and other civil disputes.
