Family Mediation & FDR

Pantheon ADR offer a comprehensive and bespoke out of court Dispute Resolution service which utilises the expert skills of our family barristers as mediators, arbitrators and through neutral evaluation (private FDR appointments). We can provide dispute resolution at our Admiralty location, or at any convenient venue throughout Hong Kong, online or even abroad.

 

Another added benefit of instructing Pantheon Family for your ADR needs is the use of our state-of-the-art ADR suite, consisting of 3 conference rooms and video conferencing facilities, with a comfortable and private environment for the parties. Whether you are instructing us as the Arbitrator, Private FDR Judge, Mediator, or just as counsel in any of these actions, use of these facilities is free of charge.

 

Family Arbitration & Private Financial Adjudication

Several of our members are qualified and accredited arbitrators, willing to take appointment as arbitrators of third-party financial claims arising in family proceedings.

 

Our experienced family barristers are also willing to take appointment as private adjudicators of a Private Financial Adjudication under the Practice Direction SL9 Pilot Scheme on Private Adjudication of Financial Disputes in Matrimonial and Family Proceedings.

Private FDR

 

Many of our barristers take instructions as the judge or as counsel in private FDRs on a regular basis. Our team is one of the first choices for many solicitors when they decide that a private FDR is the best way forward in terms of trying to reach an early settlement.

 

Mediation

 

Several of our barristers are qualified and experienced family mediators and some offer mediation under the civil mediation model or a hybrid mediation service, including provision of a neutral evaluation of the dispute at the parties’ joint request in the event of a deadlocked mediation. They enthusiastically apply and adapt their long experience of family disputes to assist parties to resolve their disputes quickly, cheaply and with minimal acrimony.

 

Our dispute resolution service deals with the full range of disputes including: child care, custody and access disputes; disputes over children’s education; financial disputes in divorce and child support; property disputes between family members and disputes over inheritance provision. We can also mediate over issues which are less contentious, such as the drafting of pre–nuptial agreements or family arrangements.
